Recently Scott Bradley from The Goodtimes Project made a presentation to the Bremerton Sports Car Club detailing a program undertaken about 5 years ago to provide funding for kids diagnosed with various forms of cancer. What has evolved is now known as the Camp Goodtimes Drive-A-Thon and is the 2nd largest fundraising event offered by The Goodtimes Project. Its purpose is to help provide funding for a week-long summer camp that is totally free to the participants. The event held at the Ridge Motor Sports Park annually in August is facilitated by Turn 2 Lapping. Drivers pay the usual track day entry fee which is in turn is donated to the charity. Rides around the track for both the kids and their parents are provided by the participants. There is much more to the event including a wine auction and go-kart rides. The Bremerton Sports Car Club Board of Directors has decided to donate to The Goodtimes Project this year. Following the link will provide all the information to participate in the Camp Goodtimes Drive-A-Thon or attend the event as a spectator. We look forward to seeing you there.
