Autocross Course Design 201 with Karen Babb

Cost: Free! We want to encourage more people to learn about designing courses and maybe get their feet wet. BSCC always designs and sets up the course the night before our events and we can always use the help.

Location: Zoom

Registration: Motorsportsreg (after registering you’ll be sent the Zoom link for access.) Registration is limited to about 50 people to keep the class size under control but if we have good turnout we’ll see if we can set up another class.

She is renowned for her course design expertise, having crafted courses for Nationals starting from 1987 in Salina, KS. She has designed courses for various venues including Boeing Kent and Everett, Cheney Stadium, Bremerton Motorsports Park, Shelton and the former Walla Walla Airport. Her approach combines meticulous planning with a passion for delivering challenging yet enjoyable competition environments, reflecting her enduring commitment to the sport and its community.

We plan on providing a more advanced course design class in the winter, right before the 2025 season starts up again.

Practice and Banquet

There will only be a morning registration at 7:30AM to 8:30AM. Register once and drive for the whole day!

Come get some more seat time!

On Saturday March 2, 2024, BSCC will be hosting an open Practice event. Unlike a normal, championship, event, there will be no run order or times recorded. We will have the timing equipment running but not recording to the database. Feel free to use this day to try making changes to the cars, co-driving other vehicles, etc.
